Sold for $17,250 Important early folk art portrait of a beautiful young woman, circa early 19th century (probably Pennsylvania). Works by this important unknown artist currently hang in the Abbey Aldridge Rockefeller Folk Art Museum, New York State Historical Society and the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C. Untouched. Measures 7" x 9". Our firm sold a smaller portrait by this same artist in 1994. |
