Lot 501A-501C

501A. HARPER’S FERRY MODEL 1842 MUSKET. No serial number. .69 cal., 41-1/2" barrel. Lockplate dated 1847. One half inch of the barrel has been removed and the ramrod is missing. CONDITION: Very heavy pitting at rear of barrel. The stock has been broken, repaired, sanded and refinished. The bore is poor. Mechanically o.k. 4-43021 (600-800)

501B. SMALL SIZE JAPANESE MATCHLOCK. No serial number. .34 cal., 30" octagonal barrel. Late-type with snapping match carrier. The trigger is a bent wire replacement. CONDITION: The barrel is covered with heavy crusty rust. The brass pieces have a dark patina. One piece of brass inlay is missing at the heel of the stock. The stock is fine, retaining much of the original varnish. The ramrod is missing. 4-43015 FS184 (500-800)

501C. UNMARKED NEEDLE FIRE SPORTING RIFLE. Ser. 2299. .38 cal., 24-7/8" octagonal barrel. The frame is lightly engraved. The operating handle is a replacement. CONDITION: The frame retains most of the reblue, the barrel and triggerguard are covered with light to moderate pitting. The stock is very good, with minor scratches, dents and chips. The bore is poor. Mechanically good. 4-42935 FS185 (200-500)

Lot 501D-501F

501D. COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER. Cal. 45 Colt. 7-1/2" barrel, block letter address, 3-line patent dates on frame with one-piece ivory grips, 1/2 moon ejector rod head. Ser. 77991. CONDITION: All matching, including the cylinder, the barrel is unnumbered, which is correct for this serial range. Overall good to very good, no original finish remains except for under the ejector rod housing, the balance of the revolver retains a silvery/gray patina with very good screws. The cylinder pin screw and one or two others appear to be replacements. The hammer is a martial replacement with "HN" (Henry Nettleton) inspector marks on the left side. This hammer retains 25-30% fading case colors, mostly on the right side. The cylinder has several large dings and two or three spots of rust, the grips have two replaced chips at the left rear and is missing a large chip at the left toe and have been sanded to undersize on both sides with numbers of fine age lines and shrinkage, strong bright bore with scattered pitting. 4-42996 (3,750-4,750)

501E. COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER. Cal. 44 Spcl. Blue and case colored with 5-1/2" barrel, case colored frame, rampant Colt black composition grips, modern replacement barrel and cylinder, unusual grips, that appear original outside, but are flat inside, without the usual molded cutouts. Ser. 167403. CONDITION: The frame and trigger guard are matching numbered, while the backstrap is unnumbered and apparently was from a nickeled revolver as the sides under the grip have traces of nickel plating. The barrel and cylinder are excellent retaining most of their original Colt finish, the frame retains most of its refinished case colors, the trigger guard, backstrap and hammer retain most of their excellent reblue with scattered pitting on the backstrap. Excellent bright shiny bore, polished hammer sides. 4-42997 (1,750-2,250)

501F. COLT ARTILLERY SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER. Cal. 45 Colt. Usual mixed number arsenal modified artillery model with 5-1/2" barrel, slanted lettering barrel address, with one-piece wood grips having "John" crudely carved on the right side. The barrel is numbered "7209", the trigger guard "10923", the backstrap is mostly obliterated with only two numbers visible. The cylinder number is no longer visible, the frame is numbered "91842" with "DFC" inspector marks. CONDITION: Good, the barrel is a light silver/brown patina with some blue under the ejector rod housing with traces of file work on the sides. The frame retains traces of case colors in the sheltered areas, being mostly a silver/gray patina, the trigger guard and backstrap are mostly a silver patina. The cylinder is a light mottled silver/brown patina, strong bright bore with scattered pitting. The grips have three repaired cracks on the left side and one on the right, missing small chips at the toe with an old refinish. 4-42998 (3,500-4,000)

502. * 1899 KRAG CARBINE. Cal. 30-40. Carbine with standard 1899 features, 22" barrel, pedestal blade front sight, humped hand guard, one-piece wood stock with grasping grooves and cartouche dated "1900". The buttplate trap contains an original 3-piece cleaning rod. Ser. 350326. CONDITION: Very good, the barrel retains 92-93% strong dull blue, the receiver, sideplate and cartridge box retain most of an old refinish, thin on the cartridge box with fine pitting on the receiver and sideplate. The wood is sound with a worn hand rubbed patina and most of an old refinish, there is a series of marks on each side at the buttplate apparently from a metal rack. 503. * SPRINGFIELD M1922 MII BOLT ACTION TRAINING RIFLE. Cal. 22 LR. Standard training rifle, upgraded MI, parkerized finish, barrel dated "9-27", with M2 bolt and M2 stock with grasping grooves and an unmarked military sling, with one 5-rd magazine. Ser. 14451B. 504. * BRNO MAUSER 98K MILITARY RIFLE. Cal. 8mm Mauser. Standard late WWII production with 24" round barrel, screwed on sight protector, 2000 meter rear sight, complete with wiping rod and stamped winter trigger guard/floorplate, missing the sling. Ser. 4052. CONDITION: Excellent, all matching, appears unfired, retaining virtually all its original finish with only light handling and storage marks. 505. * 1898 KRAG RIFLE. Cal. 30-40. Standard rifle with 30" round barrel, pedestal front sight with brass sight/muzzle protector, 2000 yard ski jump rear sight, smooth trap buttplate that contains a nickeled oiler. Ser. 262283. CONDITION: Very good to excellent, the barrel retains 95-96% strong bright original blue, the receiver, sideplate and cartridge box about 90% mottled case colors, the wood is sound having had the cartouche cleaned off, otherwise retains 92-93% original finish. 506. * SPRINGFIELD 1903 MARK I MILITARY RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. Mark I rifle with barrel dated "3-20", having a sheet metal sight protector, standard rear sight with oval cut-out on the left side of the receiver, the ejection port when the Pedersen device is installed. Type C stock with pistol grip and checkered buttplate with trap, containing the original oil soaked DCM papers indicating sale to Raymond Spicer of Vancouver, Washington in February 1949 for $17.85. Accompanied by an original military marked sling. Ser. 1161881. CONDITION: Very good, the metal retains about 90% of black oxide finish with the rear sight, trigger guard and floorplate being Parkerized, the wood is sound with numerous small nicks and scratches and a bruise or two on the forearm. 507. * WINCHESTER MODEL 1917 MILITARY RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. Standard 1917 rifle with 26" round barrel, protected front sight and receiver mounted ladder sight, barrel dated "12-17", no cartouche visible on the stock. Matching Winchester bolt. Ser. 90453. CONDITION: Excellent, the metal retains about 98% of its original black oxide finish, the wood is sound and retains virtually all its original oil finish. 508. * 1902 LUGER CARBINE. Cal. 30 Luger. Standard carbine configuration with 11-3/4" tapered round barrel, ramp front sight and elevated rear sight to 300 meters. Dished toggles and recessed bolt with standard checkered unnumbered walnut grips and unnumbered wood base magazine. The rear of the frame fitted with a 1/2" x 1/2" brass faced presentation block. Accompanied by a Huey type green felt lined, French fitted oak and leather trunk case with recesses for the pistol, stock, two spare magazines, tool, 3-piece modern brass cleaning rod and box of ammunition. The stock an excellent modern made copy on original unnumbered iron with sling swivel and serrated composition buttplate. Ser. 23810. CONDITION: All matching, except the stock. Very good, retaining 95-96% original blue overall, thin around the forearm line and at the muzzle with additional thin spots on the tuning fork at the frame ears. The toggle link and bolt retain 97-98% strong finish, the frame thin on the edges and sideplate with blue/gray front strap. The forearm with its German silver escutcheons is solid and clean showing light wear to the checkering, retaining thin finish overall, with minor nicks and dings. The two spare magazines are also unnumbered and excellent, the stock retains about all its custom finish and the case is excellent plus. Very good bore, bright lands, dark in the grooves. 4-42985 JL244 (10,000-12,000)

509. OLD WATER COLOR, POSSIBLY WEST POINT VIEW. Horizontal image, 11-3/4" x 8-3/4", of a river scene with sailing ship toward the background with hills and clouds in the far background and a stone wall in the foreground, believed to be a view from West Point. The lower right corner has the pencil date "June 6, 1888" and is attributed to Samuel Henry Lockett. The back of the painting has a reproduced biography of Lockett indicating he graduated from West Point in 1859 and had a long and distinguished career in the Engineers for the Union Army, The Confederacy through the war and then was appointed a Colonel of Engineers in Cairo, Egypt. From 1877 to 1888 he was Professor of Engineering & Mechanics at the Univ. of Tennessee and in 1888 went to Columbia as Chief Engineer on a water works project where he died in 1891. CONDITION: Very good, some slight foxing on the left edge with possibly two little fold marks, one at each end. The colors are subtle. 4-42070 JL382 (200-400)

510. CARVED POWDERHORN. Greenish color cow horn about 14" long with 3" wooden plug in the large end, secured with old nails, two of which were apparently intended as a strap hanger. The spout end is 2-1/2" long, faceted, missing the plug. The body of the horn is covered with recently applied carvings of ships, leaves and branches, the name "William Rumery Jr. LUBEC" and "LUBEC OCT 12TH 1848" and other decorative markings. CONDITION: Very good, 3-1/2" crack from the large end, would make a nice addition for a re-enactor. 4-42612 JL307 (75-125)

511. ITALIAN (?) FIREMAN’S HELMET. Lightweight metal construction with brass colored crossed axes above the bill on front. Missing the lining and latch for chinstrap. CONDITION: Crown is battered and missing about a third the black base paint and gold decoration. The tail is also dented, bent, and missing paint. 4-42862 (100-200)

512. * ENGRAVED BROWNING GRADE VI SEMI-AUTO 22. Cal. 22 LR. Blued finish with 19-1/4" tapered round barrel, open sights, highly figured wood, with beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock having a metal buttplate. The receiver is very nicely engraved with leaf and vine patterns, having a large vignette on the left side of a hound chasing a rabbit, a coyote after a squirrel on the right side and the head of a pointer on the top, all inlaid in gold. Ser. 05639PP646. CONDITION: Excellent plus, retains virtually all its original finish to metal and wood, with two or three minor nicks and scratches and a line of small bruises on the buttstock. The rifle has been fired, but very little. Brilliant shiny bore. 4-43071 JL335 (300-500)

513. * REMINGTON MODEL FOUR DIAMOND ANNIVERSARY PREMIER GOLD GRADE COMMEMORATIVE. Cal. 30-06. Spectacular commemorative with wonderful laser engraved side panels depicting a white tail buck and a bear with two hunters in a canoe, surrounded by Arabesque patterns. The bear, the hunters and surrounding border are in gold. Beneath the dear is engraved "Remington Model Four". Towards the rear in a riband is "Diamond / Anniversary". The right side has a vignette surrounded by gold border, "REMINGTON ARMS CO / LIMITED EDITION / ONE OF FIFTEEN HUNDRED" surmounted with the dates "1906" and "1981". To the rear of the receiver is a gold Model 8 rifle with "Model 8" on a riband. To the front of the receiver is a gold Model 4 rifle with "Model Four" on a riband. The wood is beautiful crotch cut American walnut, hand checkered with extra coverage checkering and a rosewood grip Cap with thin brown original Remington recoil pad. This rifle was made to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Model 8 rifle. Ser. LE81-1366. CONDITION: New unfired, retains virtually all its original factory finish to metal and wood, with one or two small bruises to the comb of the stock. 4-43098 JL336 (2,000-3,000)

514. * COLT SHARPS PROTOTYPE MODEL 78 SINGLE SHOT RIFLE. Cal. unchambered. This is one of the prototype rifles for the Sharps Model 78, having a 28" tapered round barrel, bored and rifled 45 caliber, but never having had the chamber cut, neither does it have an extractor. The top of the barrel is marked "Sharps Arms Co. SLC Ut. Mod. 78". The front bottom of the receiver is marked "PROTO". Two-piece wood with spectacular flame grain walnut with thin original Sharps brown rubber recoil pad. Ser. PROTO. CONDITION: Pristine new, obviously unfired, retaining virtually all its original brilliant finish to both metal and wood. One or two small nicks on the metal, the wood is near perfect. 4-43076 JL334 (2,000-3,000)

515. * WINCHESTER MODEL 70 ULTRA GRADE 1 OF 1,000 BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 270. Spectacular factory custom rifle with elaborately engraved receiver with leaf and vine patterns in about 85% coverage, the left side of the receiver, the front receiver ring, and the right side of the rear bridge are inlaid with gold wire. The "WINCHESTER / TRADEMARK" on the left side of the receiver in gold, the serial number on the right side of the receiver ring also in gold. The muzzle has one wide and one narrow gold band, the right side of the barrel by the chamber is inlaid in gold and script "1 of 1,000". The floorplate, bolt knob, trigger bow and grip cap are also beautifully engraved with identical leaf and vine patterns with a Big Horn sheep in the center of the floorplate. The floorplate and floorplate base also have gold wire inlaid around the edges. The bolt body and follower are engine turned (jeweled). The one-piece stock is highly figured with ribbon special checkering with an original Winchester marked solid red rubber buttplate. Ser. UG705. CONDITION: Pristine new, appears to be unfired, retaining virtually all its original finish, high luster blue to the metal and satin oil finish to the wood. 516. * REMINGTON MODEL 241E DELUXE ENGRAVED SEMI-AUTO RIFLE. Cal. 22 LR. Spectacular little rifle, with 24" tapered round barrel, standard open sights, factory engraved receiver, with vignettes of a running rabbit on the left side and a squirrel in a tree on the right side. Both surrounded by Arabesque patterns. The top and bottom of the receiver and trigger bow are also engraved with Arabesque patterns. Engraved around the right side vignette is "Model 241E" and the serial number. The stock and forearm are highly figured walnut, checkered with a capped pistol grip and a wonderful smooth high polish finish. The buttstock has a Remington embossed checkered metal buttplate. Ser. 23164. CONDITION: Excellent plus, near new, appears to be unfired, retaining virtually all its original blue to the metal and stock finish with only minor tiny handling and storage mars to the finish. 4-43116 JL331 (2,500-3,500)

517. * CUSTOM REMINGTON SWITCH BARREL LEFT HAND BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 300 Weatherby & 416 Rem Mag. This rifle was built by master gun maker, Gary Stiles, as a personal favor to the consignor. It is built on a Remington 700 left hand action that has been custom modified into a spectacular take-down rifle. It is mounted in a gray Rutland plywood laminated stock, 13-3/4" over a solid red recoil pad. The two forearms have about 50% coverage checkering with checkered grip. The bolt knob has 4-panel custom checkering. The barrels are mounted with custom ramp front sights with interchangeable beads and African safari type sling base. Each barrel has a 1/4 rib with standing sight and has the caliber engraved over the chamber area with other light decorative engraving on the rib and on the front sight ramps. The take-down feature consists of four section interrupted threads and a spring loaded pin lock in the forearm. All the metal has a satin black finish with Tally mounts for quick detachable rings containing a Leupold Vari-X IIC 3-9X scope with fine crosshairs and dot for the 300 Weatherby barrel and a Leupold Vari-X III 1.5-5X scope with duplex crosshairs for the 416 Remington Magnum. Accompanied by a Nasco aluminum case with custom interior by Vermont Custom Cases containing a sling and swivels. Also accompanied by two tubs containing a set of RCBS 300 Weatherby Mag dies, about 100 rounds of Weatherby brass and about 100 rounds of Remington brass plus a set of Redding 416 Remington Mag dies, about 70 once fired cases and about 300 Remington virgin nickeled cases. Ser. A6282202. CONDITION: Excellent plus, retains virtually all its original custom finish to metal and wood with only one or two minor mars to the stock finish and a couple of small scratches on the receiver. 518. * REMINGTON MODEL 700 LEFT HAND MOUNTAIN RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. Custom black satin Teflon finish on the metal, mounted in a gray krinkle finish Kevlar stock with old English style solid black recoil pad, 24" barrel and ramp front sight. The receiver mounted with Leupold quick detachable bases and rings, with a Redfield flip-up peep on the back of the rear base, containing a Leupold Vari-X IIC 3-9X scope with fine crosshairs and dot. The stock has sling swivels with a gray nylon silent sling. Ser. B6785089. CONDITION: Excellent plus, retains 97-98% of a custom Teflon finish on the metal with light muzzle wear and a small mar or two on the stock, brilliant shiny bore. 4-43138 JL324 (800-1,200)

519. * CUSTOM RUGER MARK II, MODEL 77R LEFT HAND BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. Fantastic custom left hand rifle with Clifton custom synthetic stock, having a built-in retractable bipod that fits neatly into the forend tip and a 4-hole spring-loaded cartridge trap in the belly of the stock. The receiver is mounted with its original Ruger rings containing a Leupold Vari-X IIC 3-9X scope with fine crosshairs and dot. The metal has had Black Star accuracy treatment and matte finish applied to all metal surfaces including the scope. Accompanied by the owner’s manual for the rifle, instruction sheets for bipod operation and two spare springs and a pin for the bipod. Ser. 78029091. 520. * ULTRA LIGHT ARMS MODEL 24 LEFT HAND BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 280 Rem. Consignor is a personal friend of Mel Forbes, the owner and maker of Ultra Light Arms. This rifle was made personally by Mr. Forbes for the consignor. Fantastic custom rifle with 22" lightweight tapered round barrel, small jeweled bolt, black kevlar stock, blind magazines, with solid black recoil pad. The receiver is mounted with custom one-piece base and rings containing a Leupold Vari-X-IIC 3-9X scope. All the metal, including the scope, is in fine satin finish. Accompanied by a small tub containing a set of RCBS reloading dies and about 200 rounds of brass. This lovely little rifle weighs only 5 lbs. 14-1/2 oz. Ser. 86-074. CONDITION: Excellent plus, retains about 99% original satin finish to both metal and stock with only a minor mar or two on the stock. Brilliant shiny bore. Consignor states that he has killed five antelope with this rifle, each of which had horns over 15". 4-43142 JL321 (1,300-2,000)

521. * MCMILLAN BROTHERS CUSTOM LEFT HAND BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 338 Win Mag. Beautiful satin finished left hand bolt action rifle with 24" tapered McMillan barrel, an original McMillan receiver, marked on the right side "McBROS PHOENIX, AZ USA". The receiver is mounted with satin bases and rings containing a Leupold Vari-X III 1.5-5X scope with fine crosshairs and dot. The bolt is spiral turned with Mauser type locking lugs and a Remington style thumb safety, mounted in a black synthetic stock with Pachmayr pad. Ser. RT-1JEF. In the 1995 issue of Gray’s Sporting Journal titled "Luxon’s Muti", the article discusses the successful taking of a 175 lb. leopard by the consignor with this rifle. CONDITION: Excellent to new, has been fired but retains virtually all its original matte finish with only light wear on the bolt. Pristine shiny bore. 4-43137 JL318 (1,300-2,000)

522. * BLASER MODEL R84 LEFT HAND TAKE DOWN RIFLE. Cal. 7mm Mag & 375 H&H Mag. Beautiful German made early Blaser with wonderfully engraved alloy receiver, having lovely Arabesque patterns on the side panels with stippled background. This rifle has a patented sliding breech which makes for a very compact and much shorter, and therefore quicker handling, big game rifle. It has 2-piece wood with highly figured checkered forearm and pistol grip buttstock with thin solid recoil pad. The 7 mm barrel is fitted with a Leupold Vari-X-IIC 3-9X scope with fine crosshairs and dot. The 375 H&H barrel is fitted with Leupold Vari-X-III 1.5-5X scope. Accompanied by a magazine for each caliber and a thin European type carrying strap. Also accompanied by an aluminum AmeriCase with custom interior for this rifle and all accessories. Additionally accompanied by an original catalogue dated "1985" and an instruction manual. Ser. 00915. CONDITION: Excellent plus, retains virtually all its original finish to barrels, receiver and wood, with only one or two minor mars to the wood finish. An opportunity to own an outstanding rifle for which additional calibers can be added as one would wish. The optics and the case are also excellent. 523. * COLT SHARPS DELUXE SINGLE SHOT RIFLE. Cal. 22-250. Wonderful single shot rifle with falling block action, 26" tapered round barrel, 1/4 rib, with Redfield type rings containing a Leupold Vari-X-IIC 3-9X scope with duplex crosshairs. Spectacular highly figured stock and forearm, checkered with fleur-de-lis patterns, with cheekpiece and engraved 4-position toe trap and the original "Sharps" marked basket weave solid black rubber recoil pad. Accompanied by its original green Fiberglas case numbered to the rifle, three small tool boxes containing a screwdriver set and 4-piece cleaning rod, also a brass and steel long cleaning rod, additionally included is a basket weave suede lined leather sling with swivels. Also accompanies are copies of operating instructions. Ser. CS129. CONDITION: Excellent plus, the metal retains 97-98% strong bright original finish, with two or three small spots of rust on the left side of the receiver. 524. * SAVAGE MODEL 110 LEFT HAND BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 308. Custom satin finish with 22" tapered round barrel, ramp front sight with da-glo orange bead in a Fiber-Pro pebbly finish synthetic stock with old English style solid black recoil pad. The receiver is mounted with old style Leupold quick-detachable bases and rings, containing a Leupold Vari-X IIC 3-9X scope with fine cross hairs and dot. The rear base has a built in peep sight aperture which is no longer made. Accompanied by a total of seven magazines. Ser. E241469. CONDITION: Excellent plus, retains virtually all its custom matte finish with some very minor flaking on the rear receiver bridge, otherwise retains virtually all the finish to both metal and stock. 525. * CUSTOM MAUSER MODEL 3000 (HEYM) LEFT HAND BOLT ACTION AFRICAN RIFLE. Cal. 470 Capstick. Fantastic one-of-a-kind custom rifle, the work of several gunsmiths and gunmakers including Art Alphin of A-Square Inc., the designer of the 470 Capstick cartridge. This rifle incorporates almost too many custom features to enumerate but we will try. It features a 26" special custom tapered round to octagon barrel that has integral top rib with front ramp having an interchangeable caterpillar sight. The safari type sling base on the bottom flat of the barrel is also integral to the barrel. The receiver is custom fitted with Tally mounts and a Lyman 57 peep sight base that, when installed, is precisely zeroed for 75 yards. When removed it is stored in a custom trap built into the removable black solid recoil pad. The bolt knob has very fine 2-panel checkering, the stock is spectacular, marble cake, honey and chocolate, American walnut, with two reinforcing crossbolts and extensively checkered forearm and pistol grip with a custom grip cap that has a trap containing an interchangeable night front sight. The floorplate release is custom checkered. Accompanied by a custom Sessions metal carrying case with compartments for the rifle and the Leupold Vari-X-III 1.5-5X scope with fine crosshairs and dot. Also accompanies are ten color slides of Peter Capstick, the namesake of the cartridge, examining this rifle during consignor’s visit to Capstick’s home in Pretoria, South Africa in July 1992 after a successful hunting trip to Zambia where he took a 40" Cape Buffalo. Also accompanying this rifle is a small tub containing a set of Redding 470 Capstick dies, approximately 125 - 500 grain bullets, approx. 76 rounds of factory and hand load 500 grain ammunition, and approx. 44 rounds of virgin and once fired brass. 526. * BROWNING A-BOLT MEDALLION LEFT HAND BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 300 Win Mag. Beautiful early A-Bolt with 26" tapered round barrel, without "BOSS" muzzle attachment, usual lightly engraved receiver marked "Medallion" on the right side, checkered half stock with rosewood forend tip and grip cap, with original thin black Browning recoil pad. Hinged floorplate for access to the detachable magazine, the receiver is mounted with Browning bases and rings containing a Burris 3-12X Signature scope. Accompanied by a spare magazine and the original owner’s manual. Ser. 64691PP2H7. CONDITION: Excellent plus, appears new and unfired, although the consignor states that he has used this rifle to take a number of white tail deer, mule deer and Wyoming antelope. 527. * KIMBER MODE 82 LEFT HAND BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 22 LR. Second year production by the original Kimber Company of Clakamas, Oregon. Satin finish metal with 22" tapered round barrel, no sights, highly figured half stock with burly butt and a striped wood forend cap with checkered Neidner style steel buttplate. The receiver is mounted with Kimber rings containing a Leupold Vari-X III 1.5-5X scope with fine crosshairs and dot. Accompanied by two original 5-rd magazines and a 10-rd magazine. Ser. LH337. CONDITION: Excellent to new, retains virtually all its original satin finish and stock finish with only minor handling and use marks. Brilliant shiny bore. 4-43136 JL319 (900-1,200)

528. * WINCHESTER MODEL 1400L MK II LEFT HAND SEMI-AUTO SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. Unusual left hand Winchester with 28" plain modified choke barrel, alloy receiver, impressed checkered wood with original red Winchester waffle recoil pad. Ser. N470029L. CONDITION: Very good to excellent, the barrel retains most of an after market satin finish, the receiver 95-97% original blue/black finish, the wood is sound and retains most of a satin refinish. 529. * BENELLI MONTEFELTRO SUPER 90S LEFT HANDED SEMI-AUTO SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. Recoil operated semi-auto imported by Heckler & Koch until recently, buffered bolt to reduce recoil, with 28" vent rib barrel, three screw chokes, checkered wrap around forearm and pistol grip stock, 14-3/8" over the original black waffle recoil pad. Accompanied by the aforementioned chokes, choke wrench and stock-drop spacers and owner’s manual. Uncle Mike’s sling swivels installed. The consignor states he purchased this shotgun new and has never fired it, unfortunately he has disposed of the box. Ser. MO56306. CONDITION: Excellent to new, appears unfired, retaining all of its original finish to metal and wood. Only one or two very minor surface mars to the wood. 530. SYRACUSE LEFEVER DAMASCUS DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. Beautiful E grade Lefever with 30" Damascus barrels, having chain pattern Damascus, choked IMP CYL/CYL. Case colored receiver and sidelocks, engraved with vignettes of a setter on the left and right locks and a flying mallard on the trigger bow, double triggers, extractors, beautifully figured stock and splinter forearm with capped semi-pistol grip, 14-1/8" over an original Lefever embossed checkered black composition buttplate. Ser. 35574. Gun includes cocking indicators and automatic safety. CONDITION: Excellent plus, the barrels retain 96-97% original Damascus pattern, slightly thinned over the chamber area, receiver, sidelocks and trigger guard retain about all their original brilliant case colors, slightly thinned on the bottom of the receiver and trigger guard, the wood is sound and retains virtually all its original finish with light handling and storage nicks and scratches, brilliant shiny bores.
