AMBERINA PRESSED GLASS VASE. New England Amberina pressed glass vase
in the "Stork & Cattail" pattern, designed and patented
by Joseph Locke. The rich color shades from ruby to golden amber. This
is a rare and highly desirable form, which was also made in opaque white
and frosted clear. All are rare. Illus. in Grover - #10, Revi –page 25.
Designed in 1884, it is shown in the Locke sketchbook – picture 11. SIZE:

AMBERINA D.Q. BUTTER DOME & UNDERPLATE. Exceptionally fine and
rare New England Amberina D.Q. butter dome with underplate. The cover
is surmounted with a reeded amber pigtail finial, the deep saucer base,
with tightly crimped flared rim; exquisite, deep color. SIZE: Base: 1
1/2" tall by 6 5/8" diameter. Cover: 4 1/2" tall by 4 1/2" diameter. CONDITION:

PEACHBLOW CLARET. Extremely rare and superb Wheeling peachblow corset-form
claret with applied deep honey amber rigaree collar and reeded handle.
The coloration is superb; the shape is rare. (One of these recently sold
at a well known National Auction House for more than $7000.00.) Illus.

PEACHBLOW MORGAN VASE W/ ORIGINAL GRIFFIN STAND. Wheeling peachblow
Morgan vase with original griffin stand in acid finish, the brilliant
fuschia to butter yellow coloration. The stand has only the tiniest flake
at the ear of one griffin; overall color and condition are the best. This
vase also comes with a pedigree of descent since 1945 when it was presented
to the president of the Atlas Hazel Glass Co. in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Letters and misc., nomenclature accompany this vase upon purchase. A finer
example is not to be found! SIZE: Overall height 10 1/8" tall with stand

41 WHEELING
PEACHBLOW VASE. One of the rarest forms in Wheeling Peachblow. Bulbous
at the base, the neck very broad at the shoulder, tapering drastically
to the lip. The vase looks like an inverted ice-cream cone. Illustrated
in a Wheeling catalog reprint in the Victorian Glass Handbook by Lee,
plate 238; top right. An outstanding color. SIZE: 6 3/8" tall by 4 1/2"

VASE. Wheeling peachblow double-gourd shaped vase with very good coloration.
This shape was extremely difficult to refire and the color is frequently

outstanding example of the rarest of Victorian art glass has exquisite

ENGLAND AMBERINA OPTIC RIBBED BASKET. Extremely rare New England Amberina
optic ribbed basket with quatrefoil handle surmounted by a ruby "ring"
connected with an amber wafer. The coloration is superb; the deep ruby
giving was to dark, richer amber. This ranks highly among the rarest forms
made by Locke. There is a tiny fracture beneath one of the "wishbones"
just below the rim. This basket was sold in these salesrooms in 1997.

ENGLAND AMBERINA D.Q. ROSE BOWL. Extremely rare New England Amberina
D.Q. rose bowl with applied quatrefoil "wishbone" rim and berry
prunts on the body. Superb fuschia color. Shown in the Locke sketchbook,
picture 5 bottom left. Also illus. in: 19t C. America, Furniture and other
Decorative Arts. Published by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1970.
There is a slender creased bubble inside the rim, which is not a damage.

TANKARD CREAMER. Rare Mt. Washington "rose amber" tankard
creamer in the "131" pattern (hobnail), with applied pale amber
handle. The extraordinary color shades from deepest fuschia/ruby to a
pale- almost rosy-amber. The identical pitcher is shown in Burmese glass
in Grover - #44. SIZE: 5 5/8" tall by 3 1/2" diameter. CONDITION: Excellent.

AMBERINA D.Q. NAPPY. Perhaps the finest piece of New England Amberina
in the sale. An extraordinarily rare and superb D.Q. nappy with applied
reeded amber handle. The coloration is astounding; chocolate at the rim,
giving way to magenta to fuschia- to orange ruby – to medium amber – to
a dark amber spot at the center! This is shown in the Locke sketchbook,
picture 9 top row #3. SIZE: 7" long with the handle. CONDITION: Excellent.

AMBERINA I.T.P. PITCHER. This is without question the rarest of the
pitchers designed by Joseph Locke. A pyriform milk pitcher with applied
amber double rope handle and cut rim & lip. This is a very important

New England Amberina I.T.P. sugar & creamer rank supreme among the
seldom seen items available. The square mouth sugar & creamer have

Sugar is 2 7/8" tall by 2 1/4" diameter; creamer is 2 1/2" tall by 2 1/4"

WASHINGTON ROYAL FLEMISH CENTERPIECE BOWL WITH ITS ORIGINAL SIGNED PAIRPOINT
STAND. This outstanding signed example of Royal Flemish features a
decoration of chrysanthemums in various colors with a maroon border. This
signed Pairpoint stand of a Cherub is one of the more spectacular items
in figural silver plated by Pairpoint. SIZE: Overall height 16 1/2" and

PAIR OF PAIRPOINT CLEAR CRYSTAL AND COBALT BLUE CANDLESTICKS. These
16" cut candlesticks feature an elaborate all over floral and leaf design.
Applied cobalt blue bases. They are superb quality. Please Note: These
candlesticks were formally in the collection of Marjorie Merriweather

GIRANDOLE. Brass Indian mounted on a double step marble base. The
three arm brass bolder mounts three overlay fonts, each with a prismed
ring below it. The center font is blue cut to clear; the side fonts are
cranberry cut to clear. The cut pattern of the cranberry fonts are different
than the blue font. SIZE: Overall is 24". Maximum width is 14". CONDITION:
Some wear to the marble edges. The overlay fonts appear to be excellent,

STAND LAMPS. Barlow 2118. White clambroth pressed star and punty lamps
with pressed hexagonal bases. Pewter collars and burners with snuffer
caps. SIZE: 10 1/4" to top of collar. CONDITION: Minor foot damage on

230 TABLE LAMP.
Cut crystal font mounted on a white opalene/clambroth stem and double
step marble base. Eight star cut 4" prisms mounted on a prism ring. Cut
and frosted Oregon style shade. No. 2 Jones burner and chimney. SIZE:
Overall is 20". CONDITION: Minor roughness on some of the prisms. The

STAND LAMPS. Barlow 2120. Star and punty fonts in jade green mounted
on brass stems and marble bases. No. 1 collar. SIZE: 10 1/2" tall. CONDITION:
Minimal wear to marble edges. The original decoration on the stems is

LAMP. Th. I - 187d. Clear fonts mounted on a sapphire blue base. No.
1 burners and pearl top chimneys. The font is marked "PATENTED SEP 20

Th. II - 32L. Reed pear font; cranberry with white threads; brass

Th. I - 238 - 1 (similar). Blue alabaster font with gold looping decoration
mounted on a blue milk glass base. The base is also trimmed in gold. No.
2 collar. SIZE: 11 7/8" tall. CONDITION: There is some wear to the gold
decor, especially on the font. The glass is generally excellent but there
are multiple surface stress lines at the top of the stem of the base.

extraordinary example of the mastery of Tiffany Studios is a superb example.
Shade is signed Tiffany Studios of New York, #1531. Original bronze base
is stamped Tiffany Studios of New York #363. The colors of the glass are
exceptionally brilliant. SIZE: Overall height is 24 1/2". Diameter of
shade is 20". CONDITION: Generally in excellent condition with minor fractures

RAINBOW IRIDESCENT JACK-IN-THE-PULPIT VASE. Tiffany rainbow iridescent
Jack-in-the-pulpit vase with beautiful stretched rim. The base is signed:
L.C.T. Y 7165. There is a crack in the base, which originates at the pontil.
Identical to an example in the Morse Museum in Winter Park, Florida. This
defect shows up frequently and suggests a manufacturing defect. Same shape
as Shuman, page 173. SIZE: 17 1/2" tall by 9 1/2" wide at the mouth. CONDITION:
