144. LARGE DESIRABLE CHEIN BOAT TAIL RACER. Elongated torpedo shaped racer known as the Boat Tail Racer. Also referred to as the "Emmett Racer". Sporting colorful orange and yellow decoration, front numbered with an "E" on the radiator and beneath it a large "7"; sporting a N.Y. license plate. This racer dates sometime in the late 1920's having lithograph wire wheels and depicts what would have been an 8 cylinder motor. SIZE: Approx. 20". 437. WHITE ROCK TABLE WATER SIGN IN GILT FRAME. Classic diaphanous clad nymph gazing at her reflection in a pool of water. 448. MICHELIN FIGURAL AIR PUMP. Wild cast iron and aluminum electric air pump with sculptural qualities, featuring the Michelin logo tire character sitting astride a bomb shaped compressor reminiscent of Slim Pickins in Stanley Kubrick's "Dr. Strangelove". Attached inflation tables indicate this was manufactured in Paris. SIZE: 12" l. x 10 1/2"h. x 7"w. CONDITION: Generally good. 449. LUKAT "THE LUCKY CAT". Pictured on the back cover of "Silent Salesmen Too". Manufactured by the Lu-Kat Novelty Co. Lukat is a cast aluminum Halloween colored cat lying on a wooden box. The customer would insert a dime in the cat's right ear and then pull the handle, which is an extension of the cat's tail and a numbered ticket comes out of the cat's mouth. The customer would compare his number to an award card on the marquee which listed the winning numbers. It was like an instant lottery. To receive a gumball the customer would have to push a button on the side of the cat and the gumball would vend between the cat's front paws. Circa 1920's. Only five known examples. Includes original marquee. SIZE: 9" h. x 14" l. CONDITION: Retains 30% of the original paint, half of brass name tag on cat's forehead missing. 452. RARE BARDWELL'S ROOT BEER STONEWARE PUNCH BOWL. Very seldom found, stunning cobalt blue decorated stoneware punch bowl made by White's of Utica, N.Y. This 3-piece molded bowl is strongly decorated with stars, multiple relief designs and swaged garlands, bearing the name "Bardwell's" incised twice around the outside top edge of the rim, and "Root Beer" incised and set within stars at three locations around the body of the bowl. SIZE: 19 1/2" diam x 9 3/4"h. CONDITION: Excellent, no chips or cracks and only light interior crazing to glaze. 1-26500 (2,500-5,500)

453. SCARCE GRAPE CRUSH SYRUP DISPENSER. Of the four Crush dispensers this is one of the harder to find. This beautiful amethyst glass colored dispenser is in the shape of a barrel with reposee relief design in the glass. "Grape Crush" is embossed on the sides. SIZE: Approx. 10"h. (not including the pump). CONDITION: Pump probably a replacement. Generally very good, with the exception of a very small tight hairline crack on the edge of the base that is not easy to see but nonetheless there. 1-26691 (1,750-2,250)

456. VAN CAMPS TIN DIE CUT STORE DISPLAY. Sensational store display for Van Camps concentrated soups with adorable wooden shoe shod Dutch children holding larger-than-life soup can and tureen. Sensational graphics and strong use of color combine to make this one of the premier tin die cuts ever produced. Originally held a rear easel support, apparent by the twin fastening holes, which is missing. Lithographed by the Chas. W. Shonk Co. Chicago. SIZE: 23" w x 32" h. 457. EMBOSSED MOXIE TIN SIGN. An extremely rare circa 1905 Moxie sign with image of woman pouring Moxie into a flared rim glass captioned "Of Course You'll Have Some". Beautiful sign, great color. SIZE: Image size 19" w x 27-1/4" h. CONDITION: Background of sign and lettering has had professional restoration. The original lithography remains strong around her arms, face, and upper torso. Some light lifting of paint to isolated areas above her right shoulder and at the words "Strengthening". Overall a very desirable sign and probably the finest example of advertising Moxie ever produced. 1-26117 (6,500-8,500)

460. GREAT TIN LITHO FRONT FOR THE DIAMOND DYES FAIRY CABINET. We do not have the cabinet but we have what is important –the tin – and it is an outstanding one. When the recent owner acquired this a short while ago, it was filthy and black and they made a quick weak attempt at cleaning it and it came out wonderful. It will probably clean up even better with a little professional attention, but this is an outstanding example of the fairy dye tin. This particular one is usually found in very poor condition and it’s so hard to find in this kind of condition. Nice colors. By Wells & Hope and Company, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. SIZE: 24" x 18". CONDITION: Large nail hole down at the bottom (much of which would be covered by the molding in the door.) A small nail hole at the top right on the edge of the molding again, maybe partially or fully covered by the molding and a small chip of paint lies just below the nail. McAlpin & Co. featuring a fashionably garbed Victorian lady coyly posing with a McAlpin monogrammed handkerchief in one hand and a feathered, jewel encrusted fan in the other. SIZE: Image size is 12-3/4" w x 26-1/2" t. CONDITION: Very good, retaining strong colors. Lightly rippled relief areas show scuff marks which do not detract from the overall image. 1-26108 (450-750)

A pre-1915 advertising paper sign laid down on canvas for this Pontarlier, France manufacturer. first generation Pernod was called "Absinthe", an anise flavored spirit concocted with the wormwood plant as a key ingredient, which also gave the drink its legendary hallucinogenic and addictive properties. France outlawed its production in 1915. Today Pernod is a 40% alcohol aniseed drink. SIZE: Image 20 1/2" x 16 1/2". This is a collection that has been collected for over 40 to 50 years by one collector. Most of the records are in albums or record sleeves. I have opened approximately 15 to 20 boxes, randomly checking about 10 records on top of each box and there is anything from 1940s, 30s, 20s and teens. 652. COLUMBIA DISC GRAPHOPHONE. Table model oak phonograph large morning glory type horn. SIZE: 25" tall x 17" wide x 20" deep. CONDITION: Oak case has original finish- not real good condition. Original decal is intact. There has been an extra hole drilled for a crank hole on the side and four screw holes in the top. The morning glory horn is an original Columbia horn. The tone arm is a little new for this phonograph but it is quite an appropriate size. The motor has been replaced- it is a Columbia motor but it is a later version made in France for Columbia, probably in the twenties. The overall condition is good.
